‘On Broadway’ is a concert of jazz with a huge line-up! The Deutsche Oper Berlin Big Band and Orchestra will be performing a joint concert on the main stage, playing symphonic jazz classics and pieces that were written for, on or in the world-famous theatre and entertainment boulevard in New York. George Gershwin's ‘An American in Paris’ will be performed, along with excerpts from PORGY AND BESS, pieces from Leonard Bernstein's ON THE TOWN and compositions by Cole Porter and John Kander. Katharine Mehrling will be the soloist at the concert.
