Fanny Frohnmeyer - Team leader
... studied Applied Theatre Studies in Gießen and graduated in 2012 with a focus on sound art and sound design. Since then, she has worked as an artistic production manager for Heiner Goebbels and She She Pop, among others, with whom she also toured internationally, as well as for various festivals and at HAU Hebbel am Ufer. After further training as a cultural specialist, she shifted her work focus to cultural education in 2018, with a particular focus on music theatre. She worked as a production and project manager for TUKI - Theater & Kita and TUSCH - Theater & Schule until she took over as director of Junge Deutsche Oper in August 2022.

Box Office at Bismarckstraße 35
The box office at Bismarckstraße 35 is open Thursday to Saturday from 12 noon to 7 p.m. The evening box office opens one hour before the start of the performance. The box office is closed during theatre holidays and on 24 December 2025.

€ 10,- / pupil, € 10,- accompanying person with the breakdown 1/10; other accompanying persons receive 25 % on the regular ticket price
Opera experience tickets
If you have pupils in your class whose families cannot afford to go to the opera, please contact us with the keyword ‘Opera experience’. We will enable these people (a maximum of 10% of pupils per school class) to attend the performance free of charge as part of a class booking.

General reductions
50% discount for children and schoolchildren up to the age of 21, people doing voluntary military or federal voluntary service, people doing a voluntary social year, students, trainees and unemployed people.
Upon presentation of a severely handicapped identity card designated »B«, severely handicapped persons can obtain a ticket free of charge in all price categories for the person accompanying them.
€ 3,- holders of an entitlement certificate ("berlinpass") - This reduction is also available on the day of the performance (from 10 hours before the performance), exclusively in the webshop.
Please show your proof of eligibility at the entrance.
For everyone under 30: The ClassicCard!
Founded in 1998 on the initiative of the Konzerthaus Berlin, today the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Komische Oper Berlin, the Staatsballett Berlin, the Berliner Philharmoniker, the Pierre Boulez Saal and the institutions of the Rundfunk Orchester und Chöre Berlin are all members. With the ClassicCard, everyone under the age of 30 receives significantly discounted tickets for performances at participating venues.
With the free ClassicCard app, you can search for all current concert, opera and ballet events in Berlin and easily book tickets in advance.
From summer 2025, the following prices will apply for the 25/26 season: Advance tickets for opera and ballet cost €18, for concerts €16, and at the digital box office from two hours before the performance, tickets are even cheaper, costing only €13 for opera and ballet and €11 for concerts. Annual membership costs a flat rate of €28.
